It is a muted, medium rosy mauve with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had a light-medium consistency that was slightly mousse-like, not as thin as some of the Lip Paints have been. It had a smooth feel on the lips, but it slides around noticeably. The color lasted for four and a half hours on me with some color fading more strongly from the center of the mouth, and the formula was somewhat drying overall.
